sorry about your pet, Gillian. He knows how much you love him and couldn’t have had a better owner. Pets know. They have a bond with their owner which is unexplainable. Personally, until I owned a dog I used to think “pets are pets.” But I couldn’t be without Sam. The first year I had him I went through a big emotional kind of ‘healing’ process. There’s nothing very traumatic happened in my life, but Sam obviously had an effect on me which completely blew my scepticism. I truly believe souls inhabit pets as much as humans. And I don’t believe that there are no pets wherever we go in death. I believe that whatever soul used your pet is watching over you and will meet you some other time.
