DOB: 3/31/1979 I recently interviewed with a company last week, and I found out today they decided to move forward with another candidate, they didn’t give me a reason which tell me this was an internal hire. I answer 95% of the questions right. I’m trying to understand what’s next—when I might connect with another opportunity, whether I’m likely to land something in April, and if I’ll need to compromise on salary or role. There’s also a position I turned down a few months ago that I’m hoping might reopen—I’m wondering if there’s a chance they come back around.
