Well, “twin flames” and “soulmates” have been around since the time of Plato from his “Symposium”, at least verbally. But people have experienced these connections throughout time, with or without a fitting term.
There is a ton of information out there about what both concepts mean.
Personally, I have developed my own understanding of them based on both my own experiences in life and those with my clients.
To put it simply: soulmates come and go and you learn a lot with them, but a twin flame is the best fit. This is the one who you feel the most complementary to, the one who you fulfill your life’s dreams of love with. It’s never easy because love is packed full of lessons. But I do believe twin flame relationships are the ones that end up lasting out above all others.
I also keep an open mind when it comes to varieties of sexual preferences. What about polygamous people? Are they not capable of being twin flames, even if there are 3 involved (or more)? I don’t believe it’s as black and white as it’s put out there right now, but it is certainly worth investigating and coming to some conclusions on your own about.
