Seems all my friends and family are getting married and I can’t hitch a decent respectful man. Should I give up on the ideal of marriage in this day and time? I am at that point and men too.

Most don’t want marriage less more commitment. Hell I have yet too meet one man who believes in dates!

What is the point in longing for a marriage when you haven’t even met a person that you would like to spend the rest of your life with? That tells me you are wanting to abide by the social standards of the people around you rather than listening to your own heart. You see others having marriages, but are they really happy or are they of your same mentality where they just want to meet someone and “get it over with”?

I think the best question for you to be asking is, “How do I meet the right person for me?” That way, you can actually experience LOVE, the real wonderment of it, and not just some predetermined set of standards by which to align your life.

Listen to your heart, not your head.
