I got jaw surgery a little over 10 weeks ago.. Today I got a splint taken out of my mouth and went to the orthodontist to get my braces readjusted and what not.. I thought I’d be able to take pictures of me smiling.. I can’t smile at all. my teeth won’t show. is it because my lips are still numb? will I be able to smile again ever? I hope so. why get all this work done if I can’t smile like a normal human being? :/ very frustrating.
