Astrology is often underrated. People see the cheesy horoscope articles in magazines like Vogue, and they think that’s all that astrology has to offer, when it’s so much deeper and more complex. Astrology is a spiritual science. Think about the moon and how its movements affect the gravitational pull, how it influences the tides, or simply how ERs and police departments for decades have reported more injuries and crimes on the full moon. There is something to be said about the power that celestial bodies have over us. In the same way that the moon very clearly affects us on Earth, so do the planets and asteroids within our solar system. Ancient Roman society was dominated by astrology. Through careful study of astrology, they took over vast portions of the ancient world and only fell after converting to early Christianity, which condemned the astrological arts.
Through examining astrological phenomena, we are able to understand the emotions and energies that will arise over a time. We are able to track when the best time is to reach out to an ex, to start a new relationship, to open a business — and intentions started under the right astrological environment prosper much more than those which don’t take astrology into influence.
