Happy Leo Season! One of my most favorite times of the year, and one of the signs that I respect the most. The Leo is always most loyal to themselves and their individuation, but aside from that, they are one of the few signs that can truly match the Scorpio in loyalty.

We start Leo season off intense with Mercury Retrograde in Leo, from July 18th to August 11th, although we are likely to feel the shadow period of the retrograde until August 26th, as things come back into alignment. It’s the typical Mercury Retrograde energy: communication mix-ups, travel delays, reflection on internal conflicts with that influence of strong, fierce, Leonian energy. New Moon in Leo comes along on July 24th at 2:55 PM ET at 1° Leo. As always, a time to set intentions and plant seeds. Typically, this would be a great time to start some projects, but not in the thick of the Mercury Retrograde. Venus spins into Cancer on July 30th at 8:20 AM ET, awakening soft, gentle, but intensely protective Cancerian energy. This is an ideal time to connect with love. August 6th, Mars shifts into Libra at 3:12 PM ET. Mars, the planet of action and energy, fuses with the energy of Libra, bringing about a phase of heightened ability to navigate social, romantic, and family relationships with diplomacy and balance. Full Moon August 9th at 2:56 AM ET at 17° Aquarius brings a spotlight to how our vision of community and individuality works in with the intentions and energy we are growing and creating in our life right now.
