You’ll be doing your share of soul searching this month. With a lineup of planets moving through your 8th house and with Saturn on the cusp of your 4th, there’ll be more introspection and interior analysis than you’re accustomed to. These areas relate to the realm of feelings, emotions and the unconscious mind, which is where your attention will be directed for the better part of the month. Don’t think this means you’ll get bored or be lonely: it can be a personally fulfilling and rewarding period for you. Your altruistic side comes out on the 24th and 25th, so find ways to “give back” too. Since you’re probably scaling down on your expenses, consider giving of your time and energy instead. With Jupiter high in your chart now and in mutual reception with Venus, it will all come back to you in the end.

Virgo – August 24 – September 22
You’re going to be more idealistic about relationships this month and more willing to give others a much-needed break. While you’re ordinarily quick to analyze and even criticize those who don’t live up to your expectations, Venus in Pisces in your relationship sector can soften some of your opinions and help you to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Neptune comes in on the 3rd, reinforcing this theme. But all is not perfect: with Mars moving backwards through your sign for the next few months you’re going to be less inclined to grant yourself the same amnesty. You’re likely to get frustrated with projects that have to be scrapped or plans that fall through. This transit requires you to revisit, revise and refine – yourself as well as your work. You can make a lot of profess if you’re willing to surrender to this requirement.

Libra – September 23 – October 23
You’ll be taking a serious look at your personal relationships this month and making some adjustments. With Venus and Mars in opposition starting on the 1st, you’re likely to be paying more attention to what’s wrong with your relationship rather than what’s right. This aspect can put you at odds with loved ones and accentuate whatever problems you’re already experiencing. But it fortunately doesn’t last long, and by the 8th you should see things starting to improve. In the meantime three planets (and the Full Moon) are moving through your 5th house – the sector related to self-expression, creativity and yes, romance. You can expect your attention to be directed towards these areas throughout most of the month. Children will figure prominently too – whether they’re yours or someone else’s. This can be a playful, joyous and creative time for you, so use it to your advantage.

Scorpio – October 24 – November 22
This month you’ll be making decisions about where people fit into your life – and where you fit into theirs. With your relationship rulers in opposition to one another at the start of the month, and with Mars moving backwards through your house of friendships, this is going to be no easy task. You may learn that some of your friendships are interfering with your relationships or vice versa. You may even end up eliminating some people from your life. Be careful though – you don’t want to make decisions based on what you think will make someone else happy if it means sacrificing your own needs. Starting on the 7th and 8th, Venus moves into your work sector at the same time the Full Moon takes place in your professional sector. This makes for a good time to focus on work and let your personal life take a back seat.
